Mainstreet Hair and Beauty  started out in 2010 as Locus Massage Therapy. It was a mobile massage therapy service that very quickly grew into a full mobile beauty service. Locus Therapies became too big for its little van and it ended up renting a room in the existing property that now homes Mainstreet Hair and Beauty. Fast forward to 2014 and Mainstreet Hairdressing was born, which in 2020 changed to Mainstreet Hair and Beauty when the business purchased the ajoining property; 112 Main Street.

We count ourselves, not only as collegues, but as friends. 

Because of this we have created a friendly, funny, caring, yet professional atmosphere.

Angela (the owner) is a fully qualifed Person-Centred Counsellor; this reflects in her way of working with the team. You will find all of the team are there for you and this translates in their way of being.

We are proud to be a Premium Eve Taylor Salon, offering the full range of Eve Taylor® products and a comprehensive range of treatments, as well as being offically recognised as holding Eve Taylor's Skin Profiling qualification.

The salon is a dedicated Schwarzkopf Professional salon. Schwarzkopf offer outstanding performance for true colour services. 

We are a Balmain Cold Fusion hair extension salon; offering Micro-ring and Tape. We also offer Balmain's Systeme Volume Keratin Bonded Hair Extensions.

The hair salon is now a stockist of a premium, holistic brand; Authentic Beauty Concept. Authentic Beauty Concept use the purest of essence in the key ingredients. The brand believes in sustainability, social initiatives, environmental impact and empowering women.

This sits well with Mainstreets commitment to being as eco-friendly as possible.
